Tri-Valley Community Television is now broadcasting its “TV30 Election Specials” featuring candidates for local office in Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton.
The eight separate programs highlight the contested city and school elections in the Alameda County part of the Tri-Valley: Pleasanton mayor, Pleasanton City Council, Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees, Livermore City Council, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District Board of Education, Dublin mayor, Dublin City Council and Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees.
“Do you know who to vote for in the Tri-Valley? Election Day is just around the corner. TV30 is giving voters an opportunity to see the candidates and hear what they have to say about issues facing the Tri-Valley,” TV30 officials said, noting that all candidates in contested races were invited to participate.
Episode hosts are hosted by Ian Bartholomew, news anchor of TV30’s “Slipstream”, and Dr. Marshall Kamena, former mayor of Livermore and president of the TV30 Foundation.
The specials are available to stream at tv30.org and are being aired on Comcast channels 28, 29 and 30, AT&T U-Verse via Channel 99. Comcast viewers also have the option to record via DVR, TV30 officials noted. The episodes will repeat at select times between now and Election Day, Nov. 5.
