A fire near Patterson Pass Road in Alameda County that broke out Monday afternoon has been contained, according to California Highway Patrol.
The fire was first reported at 4:15 p.m. in the area of Patterson Pass and Midway roads and by 6 p.m. had reached 110 acres, according to Alameda County Fire.
The only road still closed due to the blaze as of 8 p.m. Monday night was Cross Road between Tesla and Patterson Pass roads, according to CHP.
ACFD officials also responded to a a vegetation fire in the 4100 block of Cross Road in Livermore at 5:36 p.m. Monday that burned between 10 to 15 acres. The fire is suspected to have been caused by downed power lines, the fire department said.
As of the latest update around 6 p.m. Monday, units were standing by for structure protection.
