The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is set to receive presentations at Thursday morning’s regular meeting about data on school sites and the adult education program as well as the district’s multi-year enrollment forecast.
As discussion-only items, presentations are scheduled regarding Altamont Creek Elementary, Leo Croce Elementary and Livermore Adult Education, according to the agenda.
The school site reports come as part of an ongoing series about school demographics; achievements; academic, behavioral and social-emotional data as well as prioritized goals and actions for the year, the agenda states.
In addition to the campus and program presentations, a student enrollment and demographic forecast for 2025-35 is also set for presentation to the board.
The forecasting presentation follows analysis by the National Demographics Corporation — contracted by LVJUSD staff this past June — and includes predictions based on new residential housing and birth rates.
The demographic study was required of the district for the agency’s eligibility for Prop 2 state matching funds, with the last study completed in 2023.
The school board is scheduled to meet beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday (Dec. 18). The agenda is available here.
In other business:
*The board will consider approving memorandums of understanding between LVJUSD and employee groups Leadership Management Association and Classified Managers/Confidentials, according to the report.
The MOUs would not change employee salaries or benefits. Rather, the MOUs are newly required by CalPERS for counting longevity towards creditable compensation.
