Mines Road will be shut down in both directions at Mile Marker 6.50 in unincorporated Livermore from next week into mid-October so construction crews can address severe landslide damage along the rural roadway, according to the Alameda County Public Works Agency.

In a press release urging motorists to plan in advance and use alternate routes, county officials said the project aims to “restore and enhance Mines Road for the long-term benefit of all users”.
