NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF LIVERMORE
*************************

The City of Livermore debuted a refreshed, mobile-friendly City website on Sept. 28th, featuring improved functionality and an intuitive user-friendly design. The crisp, modern look of the city’s improved website offers visitors an easier way to access information.

The City hired Granicus as the website host. Granicus offers a service-centric approach to website design. In addition to updating the City’s main website, the two sub-sites for the Livermore Public Library and Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department have also been modernized. The City’s website is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, a set of standards for website accessibility.

Information available on the site is current, accessible, and easy to find. Some features of the updated sites that visitors may enjoy:

• Icons on the homepage representing the most visited pages, which can be updated as needed.

• A new easy-to-use “Service Finder” that helps website users find information through simple search options including Apply, Contact, Find, Pay, Report, Request, Register.

• Report an issue quickly and easily – from a pothole to a sewer issue – with just a few clicks and it is routed to the proper division to be handled.

• Easily learn about the City’s advisory bodies, like the Library Board of Trustees or the Planning Commission, and view current rosters, vacancies, and upcoming meetings.

“We’re excited to offer this refreshed digital destination for all the latest news and events from the City. The work done by City staff in coordination with Granicus over the past few months had the customer in mind first and foremost,” said City Manager Marc Roberts. The URL remains the same, cityoflivermore.net
