Officials with the city of Livermore shared an announcement on social media notifying motorists of a road closure at Las Positas Road.
As of Monday (May 11), Las Positas Road is fully closed from the west side of Target to Las Colinas Road through May 27, officials said on Facebook Sunday.
The closure is for major street repairs and repaving work that aims to improve driving conditions in the area.
Detour signs will be posted to help drivers safely navigate around the work zone.
The city advises motorists to, “plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes during the closure.”
