In a social media statement Wednesday, LPD officials said officers contacted a 46-year-old Stockton man while he was sitting in his car at the 7-Eleven on Springtown Boulevard.

The man, who was already on probation for drug and weapons charges, was searched as part of his probation terms. Officers allegedly found 22 grams of methamphetamine, evidence of drug sales and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of illegal paraphernalia and violating probation terms, LPD officials said.
