On Saturday, April 13th, the KPA Tri-Valley (Korean American Parents Association) hosted its annual Korean Cultural Festival in support of Livermore City.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the hundreds of guests who braved the rainy weather to join us. The event featured performances by the TVYOC orchestra, TKD demonstration, and a Traditional fashion show, as well as various traditional crafts and plays that were well-received.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the festival, including Livermore Mayor John Marchand, Livermore Library Associate Director Nathan Brumley, SF Korean Education Center Director Wanhee Kang, Mach Martial Arts Head Master Byungchul Shin, TVYOC Conductor August Lee, KPA Founder Sunghee Park, Korean teachers from local high schools, and many others.
Also, our dedicated volunteer students and parents played a pivotal role in leading the event, and we are deeply appreciative of their efforts.
Once again, thank you to the Livermore city and Livermore library for their huge support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone again next year.
