Dublin’s Summer Concert Series is in full swing, bringing free live music to the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater weekly through early August.

The concerts, hosted by the city’s Parks and Community Services Department, are scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. each week on Thursdays through Aug. 6 — with no concert July 2, according to a press release from the city.

The series runs alongside the Dublin Farmers’ Market, where attendees can buy dinner from local vendors and food trucks, shop for fresh produce and specialty items and purchase beer and wine.

This year’s lineup began with the Tyler Gene Band, a country and folk group, last Thursday. Best Intentions — performing Motown, old school and R&B — is scheduled for this week (June 18), followed by Hella Doubtful, a No Doubt and Gwen Stefani tribute band, on June 25.

The series resumes on July 9 with Amor Prohibido, a Selena tribute band. Pop Fiction, a high-energy party band, is scheduled for July 16, followed by The Unauthorized Rolling Stones, a Rolling Stones tribute band, on July 23; Take 2, another high-energy party band, on July 30; Tainted Love, an ‘80s tribute band will close out the series on Aug. 6. Officials noted in the press release that the lineup is subject to change.

Attendees may bring lawn chairs and blankets, with seating available on the lawn and terraced steps. This setup allows visitors to make an evening out of the event, whether they come for the music, the market or a picnic-style dinner at the park, organizers said.
