More than 200 craftspeople will display and sell their art, pottery, jewelry, garden decor and more this Saturday at the 35th annual Livermore ArtWalk.Â
The free event, organized by Livermore Valley Arts, runs 11 a.m.-5 p.m. downtown. Artist booths will be set up on sidewalks and in plazas, parks and galleries, including the Bankhead Plaza; First Street between Maple Street and South Livermore Avenue; Livermorium Plaza; and McLeod Street between First and Second streets.Â

New this year will be Chalk the Walk, a chalk-art festival where professional and community chalk artists will showcase their skills in front of the the Bankhead Theater.
There will also be live music and a “portrait paint-off” conducted by local artists.
“ArtWalk is one of those events that really captures the spirit of Livermore,” said Anne Giancola, visual arts and education manager at Livermore Valley Arts. “Chalk the Walk gives people another reason to stop, look and engage with art.”
This year’s ArtWalk coincides with the opening of “The Great Elephant Migration: A Family Gathering,” a temporary installation of 30 life-sized elephant sculptures created by Indigenous artisans from Southern India. The sculptures will be located at the Bankhead Plaza and Stockmen’s Park through Dec. 6.
