Authorities have confirmed the identity of the Livermore man who died in a motorcycle crash on Mines Road on Thanksgiving morning.

The decedent was 40-year-old Arthur Alexander Drucker, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau.

The deadly crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Nov. 28 on Mines Road south of the Tesla Road intersection in unincorporated Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers arrived to find a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle and its rider blocking the lanes of the county road following a solo wreck, the CHP stated at the time. The man — later identified as Drucker — was pronounced dead at the scene that morning.

A witness reportedly told the CHP that the motorcycle had been passing across the double-yellow lines at high speeds before the crash. A PG&E utility pole was also damaged in the area, sending live electricity wires on the roadway, which took nearly four hours to clean up and fix.

The circumstances remain under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash can contact the CHP Dublin Area office at 925-828-0466.
