Assessing Pleasanton’s assets: Council discusses new plan for how to manage all 200,000+ things the city owns and maintains

The city recently finished taking inventory of all its assets — roads, buildings, vehicles and everything else that the city owns and maintains — as part of its ongoing efforts to finalize Pleasanton’s first-ever Asset Management Plan that city staff said will serve as a helpful budgeting tool to manage city property.

Two arrested, two at-large after police chase in San Ramon

An Oakley man and an Antioch man were arrested following a surveillance operation by the San Ramon Police Department that resulted in a pursuit late Monday evening in which multiple police vehicles were struck and one officer sustained minor injuries.
