A Pleasanton-born ice creamery known for its soft-serve cones recently unveiled its Livermore location as part of the shop’s soft opening.
The expansion of Meadowlark Dairy into Livermore follows months of anticipation, as business ownership confirmed with Livermore Vine last November that they were in the early stages of expanding to the neighboring city.
Despite the shop’s grand opening being set for the new year, the ice creamery within the former Bank of the West building at 2287 Second St. was already bustling with patrons on Tuesday (Dec. 23).
In addition to ice cream, milk and other dairy products were up for sale inside the shop as well as bottled beverages and Meadowlark-branded merchandise. Frozen items, however, were not yet available for purchase as signs posted on their freezers noted they’d be “coming soon”.
Ahead of the grand opening, the store aims to bolster public awareness of the Livermore shop and give customers a sneak peek of what’s to come while employees get their training in as well.
The Livermore Meadowlark Dairy shared on social media its soft opening hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday through Sunday. The store is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The store also advises checking Google and Yelp for updated hours.
