What an awesome 25th Anniversary Party last Friday night.

The Pleasanton Weekly piggybacked on the Pleasanton Downtown Association’s popular summer series by co-sponsoring the final Concert in the Park of the season to serve as our community celebration marking a quarter-century since our debut paper in 2000. The RPM Band rocked an audience of hundreds sprawled across Lions Wayside Park and adjacent Delucchi Park.

The Weekly team, as well as organizational leaders from our parent Embarcadero Media Foundation, enjoyed engaging with so many readers and residents at our table and throughout the park, including local elected officials from all three of our Tri-Valley markets and State Senator Jerry McNerney who presented us a special proclamation.

The evening brought our staff closer to the Pleasanton community and re-energized us all for the next four months to close 2025 on an even higher note — as we look to build momentum for 2026 and the next 25 years.

Thank you, Pleasanton!
