NEWS RELEASE
CITYSERVE OF THE TRI-VALLEY
*******************************************

CityServe of the Tri-Valley is kicking off the harvest season with a morning of sharing gratitude, offering prayer for our region, igniting a "Season of Serving," and celebrating the ways we as a community care for our neighbors 365 days a year.

CityServe has held the annual Prayer Breakfast as a beloved tradition for the past nine years, with last year’s event being held virtually due to the pandemic. This year, pastors, city officials, business owners, and other local leaders are welcomed to an in-person event November 22 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Pleasanton.

Attendees will enjoy breakfast, prayer, music, and a special message from guest speaker Dr. John Jackson, President of William Jessup University — Rocklin Campus. Dr. Jackson has written and co-authored nine books on leadership, cultural transformation, and spiritual formation and will share practical ways we can distribute grace every day.

CityServe thanks event sponsors Graham-Hitch Mortuary and Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting — Hayward for their generosity that makes this year’s Prayer Breakfast possible.

CityServe of the Tri-Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that exists to mobilize mercy in the Tri-Valley by 1) caring for people in crisis, 2) coordinating local resources and volunteers between the faith-based community, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and government agencies, and 3) connecting volunteers from local churches and the community to nonprofits in the Tri-Valley.
