The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle at Mountain House and West Grant Line roads in eastern Alameda County near the San Joaquin county line Saturday night.
The incident was first reported at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday in far-eastern unincorporated Livermore, and briefly blocked both lanes of Mountain House Road, the CHP said.
The traffic collision left at least one fatality, although the CHP has yet to confirm further information about the individuals involved in the crash.
The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau declined to provide victim identifying information on Sunday, saying next-of-kin notification was still pending.
