The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau is currently conducting a death investigation in relation to an unspecified incident that occurred on Wednesday at Las Positas College.

Livermore police initially responded to the morning incident at the campus. LPC officials did not provide details about the circumstances of the death but said there "was no reported threat to the campus and all classes and activities are continuing as scheduled."

The college sent an email to the campus community informing them of the situation and ongoing investigation.

"We want to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff remains our top priority," the email reads, adding that more information would be provided as it becomes publicly available.

The email also included a reminder about resources offered for mental health support and counseling through the college.
